mmm Yes a book about Lyra and Bon-Bon. Do anypony dare to translate that and still be sane enough to talk bout it?
I finished this about a week ago, and I would have posted it then if it wasn't for my internet playing a dick with me.

This was a very well-executed piece. The little bits of shading, especially on the mane, gave it a bit of realism that the show does not. The scruffiness of the mane and the wrinkles in the socks were vert nice touches, as were the nicks in the pages of the book. The small details in the background were amazing, from the chalk dust to the Lyra and BonBon picture.
The perspective was amazing. I loved how you made it edge-on, not showing her from behind and making it seem like she was looking at the viewer but not showing her from the side and showing who she was looking at.
Another way this picture was excellent was that, even without shading, you showed the high points by merely tweaking the base image. Really excellent.
In all, this is a very good piece and I can't wait to see more from you.
Okay, you want my serious thoughts about this??... I love it, I love the overall look and feeling of this, playful and teasing. I'm half expecting to see Big Macintosh walk in and immediately face-plant. I like how her mane and tail aren't just one uniform piece of hair, and you made pieces of it scruffy and stand out. And you had me sold at the socks, but when you added the saddle... And the BRIDLE?? Damn, this is wallpaper material right here. I especially like the book addition, makes me think of Sex-Ed And nothing bad really stand out to me, Everything seems in order from the thighs, the face, none of it seems rubbery or ugly. And the panties??... Is that a slight crease where.. The DETAIL!!! *facepalms* Es Magnifico!
